I am curious as to if some drivers are just faster in qualifying? I have a #2 driver (who will in my opinion always be #1, but none the less) who is just flat-out fast in qualifying sessions, only to screw up in the race. I know that qualifying is sporadic, but this is 3 races in a row that my slower driver has been fast in qualifying.

Driver 1

Driver 2

Qual 1 (My driver had softs, 2-5 had SS, I believe)

Race 1

It's like this for all 3 races so far this season.

That happened to me at the start of the league... Then by upgrading the cars, setting up a good strategy and atteding the races to manage the KERS and strategies solved that. In qualys my drivers were doing 3-4 but in races they were finishing 18-20.

Don't know exactly why this happens but after doing what I said before the problem seemed to be solved.

Low stamina drivers force you to be more strategic with your race plan.
The lower the push level the less health they lose, but it also means having to use a softer tyre that doesn't last too long. Ultimately forcing you into a 4stop SS strategy just to look after the driver.

To me qualifying doesn't mean anything, it's just a glory run and i hate those. one bad start and all that hard work means nothing, ultimately it is just a position on the grid like any other and what really counts is the race. statistically i am a much better racer in management than qualifier because that is where it counts in the end, the racing, the points and prizes for them.

You should focus your 1st driver into becoming a winner, i noticed the stops you have are 2 stops? you should consider a 3 stopper on softer tyres, even with medium deg on tyres you could run the risk of super-softs but softs are a safe option to have. a solid fast strategy will take advantage of the drivers you have. i would also advise you to upgrade the stamina of your drivers.

That still applies even for softer and harder compounds? Because #2 is on harder compounds and still faster than drivers with softer compounds.
