Update race reward points

I believe the current points calculation system can be improved - which will make it both more and less realistic (confused yet?).
As it currently stands, the nr of points rewarded matches that in real F1 (afaik). However, the fact that you can have a championship with only 5 teams does not. I think the more players a league has, the more rewarding it should be for reaching top positions - therefore, a multiplier should be in place.
Only question I don’t have answered yet is whether that multiplier should update dynamically as teams come and go during a season, or stay frozen based on the situation from the beginning of that season.

Open to hearing your thoughts.

or maybe there could be different point systems implemented just like league rules, for example top 6 points, top 8, top 12(like f1 wanted to do), top 20 etc..

i'm pretty sure this isnt a priority right now, so even if it is a great idea, it likely wont be implemented before the upcoming updates

Of course, not saying my idea is the best and only way to do it, but I think some kind of distinction (in terms of rewards, be it points or smth else) should be made. Being better than 30 should not be the same effort-wise as being better than 4, right?

This is just increasing the range I think.. Top 2-3 teams get the same nr of points as right now, wouldn’t be any difference between that and a 3-team league (not even sure what the minimum nr of teams in a league is). I was thinking either what you’re proposing plus a multiplier for all the teams, or just the multiplier (although spreading the points more does indeed make sense)
