League is in off-season, yet can't leave without penalty

My hiatus league just finished its last race of the season.

I am trying to leave the league to re-join my original league, however the game is prompting me with a 10% penalty if I leave the league.

In the old iGP, once the last race of a season was completed, one could leave with no penalties applied before the first race of the next season.

Is this still the case? Am I trying to leave my hiatus league too early? Do I need to wait at least 24 hours until the 'off-season' day begins (which is the next day)?

Just out of interest, i asked the same thing a number of weeks ago and got no answer in the bug section.

I reported it some time ago in the bug section (with hindsight I should have made my post there more clear), although I had the penalty warning no credits were deducted when I left between seasons.

If you don't want to risk it then asking the league manager to kick you will carry no penalty

It's my own league, so I'm unable to kick myself or delete it.

I'd like to not lose $111 million lol

I can now confirm this is true, used a throwaway account I've got from long ago.

Just left the league with this account and although I was warned of a penalty, there was none. Definitely a bug.
