What did you try to do?
Checked live weather against game weather

What happened instead?
Mismatch between live weather and game weather.

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Both

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
Both

What is the model of your device?
Iphone 14

What is the operating system?
iOS

What is the version number of the operating system?
Ios 17

What operating system is your PC?
Windows 11

Which browser did you experience the problem in?
App

Can the bug be reproduced?
Not sure if it is a bug or just game not reading the weather correctly. Raising it as an FYI, in case something needs to be fixed. Japan is raining hard at the moment, but game track shows no rain.

There is a delay in game from real time weather (it’s either 15 or 30 min delay).  Would that explain the difference at start?

It would but it was pretty much real time a few weeks back. Maximum of 2 mins delay from real time weather.

It’s never been real time

I think it might currently be about 5 minutes. Also keep in mind that whichever co-ordinates you are looking at to check the weather might not be the same ones as the game, which could also explain what you are seeing.

I think it is 2-3 minutes, like I can give russia as an example, sochi is not a very big city and if rains in a part from a city probably in 1 minute will rain everywhere,so let's come back,i saw on open weather,im sochi was raining and in game updated like 2-3 minutes after

It’s not about the size of the city, it’s the delay the API has between public website and API signal. It can vary a lot depending of the demand the service has. Normally it takes 4-5 minutes and can go up to 15 minutes in some cases.

I was talking about Red Craigie said,l mean the weather is took from somewhere near the track or the city if is street circuit, and i mean it can say is raining on the links, but if the game is not using the weather from the places we have and i think is better to watch the radar from their site, because if you see a big zone where is raining you will knowit will start in the game soon ,but if is only something small it can rain only in the zone where the station is and you can't be sure if will rain in game or not.Probably it was just for me,but when i saw on openweather there is raining or rain is expected in 1-5 minutes it started like 2 minutes after i saw it.And i think that's the normal time 2-3 posible 4 minutes and if is taking so long to update in game is just something that happens very rare and that's all

Why do we bother with real time weather just use computer generated weather like GPRO does at least you would know whether  the start of the race is wet or dry.
