TD, spec.abilities. Telemetry

Please explain what this ability means. 
The game says that we can see the drivers's error on the lap. 
As far as i understand, this should mean that if we subtract the error from the lap time, we will get the BEST lap time for this pilot on the same car settings and tires. 
for example, the pilot showed 1 lap time of 1:10,000 and an error of +0,500, then the best lap would be 1:09,500. My understanding is correct, if the pilot drives the second lap in 1:09,900 and shows an error of +0,400. 
However, if you drive 3 laps in a row, you will get different final times (lap time minus error time). And in this case i do not understand what the telemetry ability shows

I don't know if it's like that.After I read the official post(https://igpmanager.com/forum-thread/59282)I think it shows how much time your driver loses with the mistakes he did,for example he can do a 1.10.050 lap and error 0.400,and I think that means he lost 0.4 with the mistakes he did,and without the mistakes was a 1.10.050 lap,but he can still go faster,likr next lap he can do a 1.09.800 and still be an error of 0.400 
And this error time means the time lost with the mistakes
