I have an idea. I have seen for long that the Reliability upgrade is usually left apart and people don't care of upgrading it over any other.
I think it would be a good idea that poor Reliability can lead to a mechanical DNF (the car would park in the garage). It would add a random event in races to spice up things and I don't think it should be a nightmare to program. The probability to DNF will depend on your Reliability value.
I would say Reliability maxed means 0% and obviously Reliability 0 could not be 100% DNF cause will be absurd, but maybe the range could be 50% to 0%, so it makes a difference and people can play with that when upgrading, risking being faster but less reliable or whatever.
Thanks.

If you search the Suggestions section you will see that any kind of random event (remember this is primarily a strategy game) is not wanted by the vast majority of players.  Your suggestions and variations of them have been suggested before and rejected. That’s not to say you shouldn’t make suggestions, it’s just the two you have made have never been very popular

I heard that random events weren't really welcomed. I thought maybe this could be set as an option it can be turned on or off. The strategy thing is ok, but if you are a couple of levels behind, is hard to compete, and races become predictable cause yoy always finish the same positions. People have played for too long that they know how to manage everything so there are never surprises, unless everybody is max level with max leveled drivers, then everybody can win cause they are equal.

I understand, but the exodus from the game will be even bigger than it is at the moment if changes like this were introduced.  A new version of the game is coming at the end of the year so it might be worth waiting for that to see what improvements have been made.  (DickDastardly using one of my other accounts)

If I remember correctly random dnfs (mechanical failures) were a thing in the past but nobody liked it

Yes,I know what you say about the random events from my experiencešŸ˜….But I think this is a good idea because now we don't upgrade the reability, like we don't need it,better to upgrade one of the 4(acceration,downforce,handling,braking,and in refuelling leagues fuel economy). If we will not have something like that, why do we have reabilty in the game?

I think it’s an old remnant of the original browser game (pre mobile).  When the game went mobile a lot of things changed and it was simplified in many ways
