Can talent actually be trained or something? I found this driver available to buy, the bmi rate is prefect for my liking.

Or should I get a driver with high talent and overweight and force them to lose weight instead 🤔

You cannot train Talent so yes an overweight driver with highest talent level is the only approach.  Low talent drivers are basically useless regardless of their other stats
