Will the update reset seasons?

I was wondering: because of all the changes coming with the new update, will the current season in leagues reset on Feb 5?

That's ok thanks for the clarification. I have rookies in my league wondering what will happen to them. So as I understand it, on the 5th Rookie tiers will cease to exist, players below L10 will be displaced, and have to compete in the new sprint races until L10 when the can join any league. Will L10 and above rookies get automatically transferred to their pro leagues or will they have to rejoin? thanks for your support
