About this update.
With the new ui, the design has changed a lot. Various new features have been added and there are now even more elements to enjoy.
However, overall, there are a lot of critical comments, which can be found in the forums and league forums in different countries. This is because many users are disadvantaged by the new ui. Managers of level 9 who were in first place in pro, but who did not reach level 10, were kicked out because they did not reach level 10, managers below level 9 who could have been rookie champions in a short time were kicked out, managers were forced to disappear from the league due to mass banning because the league had just been created, and other management forces. Some people were not able to become champions due to ''the worst ever'', and others were kicked out of the league even if they fulfilled the requirements, because the league was full of professionals and above. Some people ''shouted'' ''worst update ever''.
It can't be helped that it is a new ui and will need to be fixed later on, but there are a lot of poor people who will not be able to return to the league due to the unfavourable events. It is sad to see the number of entries reduced, but it may have to be done in order to increase the active rate and to increase the number of participants in the unpopular leagues. However, as all the leagues are independent, I would like to know if there was a recognition that the leagues could have been well under the same circumstances.
Should the rookie tier have been kept?

I think we have to just wait a little bit more,as Jose said this is not really an update with something new, this update will give the possibility to the team to add in the game things you want, like W2W racing and other things, for now I know is not th best but let's wait and see what happens

In short the Rookie tier should never have existed and is the reason why the game was in the state it was before the update, along with the lack of restriction on league creation.  I could elaborate but I don’t have the time to write a long explanation.  Suffice to say it’s hard but necessary medicine to ensure the game has a future.

I don’t have an opinion on league restructuring, my 2 cents is on the pricing (lol). Not for the cosmetics, mind you, but for skipping construction time on buildings. It’s absolutely bonkers now - used to be 5 tokens/day, now it’s.. around 30? What gives…
It’s bad enough that you can’t be competitive in a top league unless you’re max level, now we also gotta wait on the buildings… genius move, what can I say…

The game looks great visually, really good job. But it's still the same game as before, but buggier.

The feeling me and my friends in our league is that yes all the visual stuff is fine, (slightly not working as well atm but that is understandable) the issue is certain small changes they have made which have been slipped by us which make the game less playable and more almost “pay to win”. The bugs we had in the first few days are what they are, like it was a server issue so that is completely irrelevant, it is more the fact there is less meat on the bone before the update and what is left is completely useless.

I feel that this type of post might not be very productive.

It sounds like a lot of players are having a difficult time. Instead of just focusing on the negative aspects, maybe we could collaborate on a list of constructive suggestions for the developers? That way, we can work together to find solutions.

I dedicate a huge amount of time in my life to playing iGP Manager or doing iGP Manager related things - my championship has a whole extended universe complete with wikis and race broadcasts - and this is something I want to do; I want to dedicate time to this game.

However, it is becoming increasingly difficult to enjoy this game due to the updates that are made. I have a whole list of things I take issue with in this update, that range from extremely disappointing to (in my opinion) completely unacceptable.

I am happy to share my grievances, but I want to be able to have an actual dialogue with those in charge where they offer a valid explanation for seemingly unnecessary changes - an explanation other than needing people to spend more money on tokens.

It would also be nice if certain unnecessary changes were reversed, as it would show some sort of solidarity or understanding from the developers to the players; because what I seem to see and the moment is totally dogmatic defence of any sort of criticism of the game.

Actually having issues heard and addressed would go a long way to beginning to improve things within the game, because at present I feel disappointed and upset by what is happening to a game I really want to spend a lot of time involved in.

Well there is no two ways about it, our league wishes the buy now option for auctioned drivers and staff to be reintroduced and the ideal set up returned to day 7 of the daily rewards this is something we would never be able to compromise on, it is completely ridiculous these things have been taken away with no explanation prior to the update or after for why they were.

That is about as constructive as I can be, except maybe saying their communication prior to updates needs to improve.

I'm now aware that the ideal set up will return to the daily rewards eventually - but the shutdown of the thread concerning the buy out option and explanation of its removal by Jose is nothing short of inadequate and disappointing.

There was a lot of noise made about how this update would revolutionise the game, but fundamentally it is no different. The menus just look different, not better, and it is now full of bugs. I know a knee jerk reaction from the devs is going to be that it is not their fault, we just don't like change and actually this was a huge step forward. It isn't. Literally nothing in game has noticeably changed. It all just got more expensive.

I believe this update is the first step towards improving the game and its gameplay. First, they are changing the layout and then implementing more things like chassis supplier and improved gameplay.

You need to understand that changes are always for the better. Wait for them to make the necessary fine adjustments. And then come here to congratulate them for the good work done in the same way that you are criticizing this update.

Exactly, game needed a visual upgrade to attract more newbies and new tutorial to keep them in the game

and saying nothing changed (max) that’s simply  not true, this upgrade introduced both cosmetics (livery and staff avatars) and mechanics updates (level cap, research)

The game looks better visually, but the game is crashed, some races you cant even connect, other doesnt even create (like now for example), and for a game thats about racing the first think you need to protect are the races, you made all the game visually better and crashed all race system

Thank you and good luck

From what I remember they've said the problem with the races wasn't even because of the update and was because there were too many players

I can't submit bugs - iphone app or website (the website one is new, used to work before).
I wanted to get 5x engines for 4 tokens, got a ghost charge so ended up trying again and again. Then restarted the app, ofc I got more engines than I need but god forbid I can submit a bug.
Garbage update, pure and simple. Should've been kept in testing some more.

I can't overtake lapped cars because of the DBL! This would put three seconds between us and the one who got away would win.It really sucks. At least let the lapped cars overtake.

I think this thread having nearly 80% of people saying no to the update being successful speaks for itself...

I can't comprehend how they can think these changes are for the better and instead of listening to the players just close the threads and make excuses. They said they want a large marketing push to bring in new players. If new players can't even join a league until level 10 which I'm sure will take a while to accomplish. They will not stick around. Those of us who are here are unsatisfied with the rising cost of coins & features being taken away that impact many leagues severely. I wouldn't be surprised if the game ends up in a worse shape than ever tbh

There are also thousands of managers that don't complain and keep on playing the game. And as a host i can say that on one very important point the upgrade was succesfull and that is more active people playing the game. In the pro tier i have a steady supply of active managers joining that do a setup and so i am removing the inactive managers one by one. The pro tier has never been so active!
