Youth Academy

Is it possible to scout a driver with high talent using a poorly developed youth academy? If so, does this mean that the more upgrades the facility receives, the greater the chance of scouting a high talent driver?

Hi Tom, i guess you have better chances to check the transfer market systematic. (so if auctions end, refresh page to see the new ones). I've found with both accounts of me drivers with 20 talent, obvoisly im just at level 8/9. In Most cases the very talented drivers are also quite young (around 17-22).

Well, another idea to get an advantage is to look through other leagues for inactive players, who have a suitable driver for you and the contract is running out in a few races.

A couple of days ago I scouted a driver with 9 of Talent having the Youth Academy at Level 2. He was difficult to scout, because I mainly obtained drivers with 1 or 2 of talent.

I hadn't thought of that Martin! That's a good find Fran, surely you burned through a lot of tokens before you found the talent 9?

Not really, just 3 o 4, but I can't remember if 15 or 19 to scout him :'(

I think a higher talent means drivers can perform better in challenging conditions, such as bumpy surfaces or rain. It may also act as a multiplier to other attributes. As you can't train talent it is a good idea to find drivers with high talent.

talent is a rating that impacts how a driver performs like Tom said. If you have two drivers with very similar attributes and one has 19 talent and the other has 13 talent the 19 talent will perform better most of the time. You can still do decently with a driver with a lower talent but it takes a lot more in terms of strategy to be able to get them up the field
