Hi there, it's time we revamped the Fuel and Tyre Suppliers. (and engine suppliers for those who have vanilla engines)
With the increase for Elite Tier to 300 (and pro to 200). There is very little in the way of how much of a difference the Tyre and Fuel suppliers influence the cars now. Their attributes don't really impact the car and offer very little meaningful benefits now. +4 and -2 to two attributes over a 300 scale is... less than 1% benefit.
I do not propose a huge buff to the suppliers as this can degrade meaningful choices made by a team as they progress. But maybe instead, they provide Multipliers to current attributes from the design of a car.
For example
Goodweek offers +5 to Handling and -3 to Tyre Economy at 100K per race
Bridgerock offers +5 to braking and -3 to Tyre Economy at 100K per race
Instead it could look like
Goodweek increases your Handling score by 10% and reduces Tyre Economy by 25%
Bridgerock increases your Braking score by 10% and reduces Tyre Economy by 25%
Other examples using the remaining suppliers;
Donelots increases your Tyre Economy by 15% and reduces Handling by 5%
Michigan increases Acceleration by 5% and reduces Tyre Economy by 25%
Komehome increases Tyre Economy by 10%
Elves increases Acceleration by 10% and reduces Fuel Economy by 20%
Beep increases Acceleration by 5% and Fuel economy by 10%
Subtotal increases Fuel Economy by 20% and reduces Acceleration by 10%
Seashells increases Fuel Economy by 10% and Acceleration by 5%
Chavon increases Fuel Economy by 5%
Engines can provide as they are just now so not to devalue engines made by players.
Right now suppliers feel very underwhelming and don't seem to offer any value to choices made by managers now. Thoughts?
