Hi Jack!
Thanks for the game so far! I enjoyed it for a few years but now I thought of taking a break since I don't have so much time and motivation to play it. So I tried to leave my league in order to stay still untill I come back in a few months and see the improvements of the game. But it asked me for a huge penalty to leave my league (10% of my balance!). That might not be too much for a normal team but I have accumulated 2 billion over the years and now it is asking 200 million just to leave my current league (which started a new season yesterday so I don't want to wait for over 2 weeks). I was already loosing money since the new game came around so I am not willing to take that cost. And for what reason? What is league-hopping exploits any way? It doesn't make sense does it? No matter the reason you shouldn't penalise everyone for something some people did as an exploit?
And that's the biggest problem for wanting to take a break is that the game has grew over the years and a lot of adjustments are made to "balance" things out. But it made the game unrealistic and without any motivation to win a race, get on the podium or even win a championship. It makes no difference what so ever to win a championship and that's a shame! Just to keep things balanced has made the game without purpose any more. F1 is not fair with the big teams taking the big money and that's their motivation for being in F1. With your model there wouldn't be F1 would it? At least not with big names like Mercedes, Ferrari etc.. I think I mentioned it in the past in another forum post, that you need to motivate people, getting a championship is hard and the only thing we have to show for it is just a counter in the manager's stats. Still making a loss over the season and no benefit overall.
Ok that took a bit longer than expected but you get my point. I really liked this game and I started it from the beginning with a new team to see how it works for a new player and the experience was even worse. I managed to win the championship in my first season but with big loss and no motivation again. I don't know what you can improve and how but you have to make it a game first and a good experience. Not a balancing and faireness act. 2-3 years ago I enjoyed the game much more and that's why I paid for it for 2 full years. I hope when I come back in a few months the game will be more engaging and addictive again. ;)
All the best and I hope you take this as a constructive feedback :)
