View qual times before race

Before the update it was possible to see the qualification results 8 min before the race time. Now it just takes you to the live race. It would be nice to see the qualification times again.

I believe the Devs have been made aware of this omission form the new UI and it is on their list of future improvements.

In the meantime there is a workaround for people who play the game via a browser, although sadly this doesn't work with mobile apps.

View the qualifying results for the previous race in your league. The address bar will look something like this:
https://igpmanager.com/app/d=result&id=69116393&tab=qualifying

Simply edit the web address, adding 3 to the raceid, so in this case it would be:
https://igpmanager.com/app/d=result&id=69116396&tab=qualifying

The qualifying results for your race will be displayed.

This will not work for the first race of the season. For this race you will need to view your practice results and make a note of the raceid from the address bar. Insert the entire raceid into the address, replacing XXXXXXXX.

For players using web browser (PC or mobile devices), you can temporarily use this bookmarklet (a bookmark that executes a simple JavaScript function).

It's safe to use, the bookmarklet adding only a green button « Qualy » to home page to access Qualy results page.

This code is not developed by iGP, so don't ask them for support on the forum.

How to use it ?

Firefox

  • Open Firefox

  • Ctrl B (to open bookmarks view)

  • Right click

  • Add a bookmark

  • Name : iGP Qualy (does not matter)

  • URL : copy/paste the javascript function

  • Save



Chrome

  • Open Chrome

  • Ctrl Shift O (to open bookmarks view)

  • Right click

  • Add new bookmark

  • Name : iGP Qualy (does not matter)

  • URL: copy/paste the javascript function

  • Save



iOS (should me more or less the same on Android)

  • On a web page

  • Click on "add to bookmark"

  • Then, edit the bookmark (press the bookmark few seconds to have the "edit" option)

  • Replace the web url by the JS code
