Hi Jack et al,

I hope this doesn't come across as overly critical, but given the ... situation ... it seems like the latest push didn't go through a full test release on a testing environment, before going public.

As a developer myself, I kind of see what's happening and it's something that's very easy to fall into, a kind of 'rush' to put things out there. But right now, it's all just fighting fires due to ... let's be blunt ... an insufficiently tested release.

I am 100% sure that there are enough people in the community who would be willing to volunteer to do testing, if given access to a secondary environment... even if it gets reset every week and revoked when nothing new is there. The cost of running such an environment would surely mitigate the cost of losing players or having to stay up hours because of bugs and fixes.

I’m a SW tester myself. I’d be willing to contribute

And to add also, it's obvious a lot of hard work is going into this... and that makes it feel worse when you're stretched, stressed and stuck fixing things instead of striving to make improvements. I think many appreciate your efforts Jack, it's clear you're running around manically right now fixing stuff, but I think you'd rather be running around promoting and developing new features!

I agree. Also some support regarding incoming bugs and Feature requests might be needed, someone who sums everything up. Many people report the same problems/feature requests all across the forum and everyone is tagging Jack. It’s easy to lose track of everything. So I’d be happy to help

Having a Trello/Kanban type of board would be good. ;)

We'd love to bring in new testers. You're a smart guy, you can see what's happened, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. We were rushed, some things weren't tested in the process. I will recover the situation rapidly this week but would definitely welcome you to join our testing team. We'll be in touch.
