As the host, it was super confusing and random.

A WIP sim leaked its way into the live service. I've taken it back out of circulation. This also explains the 30s faster laptimes some reported. As you can see, the cars were going much faster around the turns! It's gone now so these reports should stop.

EDIT: I had to find out what version of the simulator that server is on, to see what these opinions were on. Don't worry, it's not representative of what the final version will look like. In fact, that version was abandoned as soon as I tried it, it was more of an experiment that went wrong. It should never have gone live at all, it wasn't even a version I'm working on anymore.

Thanks. We were like dragsters and cutting some corners like Vettel at the 2020 Italian gp

Yeah, that version was abandoned even in the deveopment environment as a dud. Apologies it saw the light of day. It's a long story, but the server that got it was having issues crashing in the live service, so we took it offline, like a day later we switched the code branch it was on early in the morning as a bid to resolve issues it was having. It did work but got left in that state offline. Then, later in the day when trying to increase server capacity it got included with others that were put online, and that's how it arrived on the front-end!

The next time it returns, it will be with the actual new cornering physics. Don't worry, they look nothing like what you saw.
