With the recent change to leagues running from Monday to Monday, I believe the game is being pushed into an unnecessarily intense rhythm.
Historically, most leagues have run from Monday to Friday, and this structure has several clear advantages:
It reduces player fatigue. Playing seven consecutive days every week can become exhausting, especially for active managers.
Weekends are not “regular” game days. Many users have less availability due to family time, travel, or other commitments.
Weekday routines are more stable, which leads to better real participation in races.
A Monday–Friday format is simpler, clearer, and more friendly for new players.
My suggestion is to have base leagues run from Monday to Friday, keeping weekends free.
This would also allow for a very clean structure: monthly seasons made up of four competitive weeks.(This is just an example; a 3-week system could be implemented.)
In my opinion, this would make the game more organized, more predictable, and better for long-term manager retention.
