I/W tyres decrease pace.

The pace on intermediate tires in the rain is usually the same as the pace on medium or hard tires on a dry track. This is unrealistic and seems like a joke. I suggest the pace in the rain be at least 5 seconds slower than in dry conditions.

While for emmersion this is great quite a lot of people only have say a 20 miniute slot to play each day which with normal lap times may be just perfect but say you add 3 seconds each lap at say a 50% Monaco or Hungary which is 39 laps do 39x5=195 extra seconds of race time which is about three minutes extra

Not quite so. Once the first car crosses the finish line, all the other cars will also finish the race. If you're 300 seconds behind in Hungary, which is about three laps, then you'll finish the race three laps behind, without completing them.

It usually rains for everyone racing on the track, so everyone would be those 300s behind and noone is there to cross the line in the normal race time. So the question remains, more realistic much slower laptimes in rain on Inters/Wets (of course even slower on slicks) and accepting the resulting longer race, go with faster rain laps to keep race time in check, or both depending on factors like accelerated time setting or league customization option.
