Made a setup for a race two hours ago when it was raining, both drivers were happy with it at that time. Now, still raining and 30 minutes to race, both drivers are complaining that the ride height and wing levels are too high(?).

I don't see how this is logical, as rain makes them want higher ride height and wing levels, and it's been raining the whole time and now they want them to be lower?

i guess you didnt press the save button after doing your practise laps. So i guess your racesetup was the default 25/25 setup. ?!

Put it down to a change in weather, next time if you can hold off doing the setup until closer to the race time.

I did save the setup, otherwise it would have been the 25/25 which it wasn't.

Also, if raining makes them want the ride height and wings to be higher, and it rains more, why would they want them to go lower (makes no sense)?

I had that too. It means less rain was leaving the track less wet and a moderated setup was the best setup. This seems to be an addition to the wet weather setup procedure because a couple of weeks ago I had changeable weather during practice and my "best setup " went from wet to dry but inters were still faster in practice. It would be nice if Jack could confirm this.

I have experienced that phenomenon as well. Tweaking set-ups right up to qualifying. Took the pole with a dry set-up on Inters. It seems the 'Best setup' is a raining or not raining switch, while tires are based on the water that is on the track.
