hmm weird because the numbers of the cars deal with positional standing from the season prior but in the case of a promoted team it goes based on who was the higher team from the season before among those two teams

It's a well known bug happening almost every season in elite.

yes, the champ moves to 13th position when next season shows for the first time. and get numbers 25 26 (full league, we are 16, always) is not on every league.

I don't think this is an advantage or disadvantage but, when you win, feels really good have nº1 and 2 in your cars. Also, feels really weird to have nº1 and 2 when you are a loser like me at the moment LOOOOL

I agree with that. Although a nice feature would be indeed the ability to choose the numbers for your cars (except 1 and 2), for tokens of course. :)
