Chassis Functionality in iGP Manager
Hello everyone, I will explain how the chassis works.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not official information; I simply studied and tried to understand its functionality.

Chassis Bonus
Having your own chassis and 10/10 clients grants an additional 5% research bonus.
In other words, it increases from 10% to 15%.
This means the chassis provides a 50% bonus, since 50% of 10 equals 5.

How to Request a Chassis
To request a chassis, go to the Community tab and search for the manufacturer you prefer.
In my case, I chose 74 Red Bull Racing Fly Emirates.
Then, find the supplier and send a request. The owner can either approve or reject it.

It’s important to note that the owner of the chassis cannot use their own chassis, so you must be a client of another person.

Data Points
I’ve noticed that many people had issues with Data Points.
These points are obtained by completing races.

Clients (though this feature may be removed) used to earn points by requesting parts.

The maximum number of parts you can request is 2.

My recommendation is to choose suspension and rear wing.

Once selected and saved, a “roulette” spins with a 50/50 chance of getting either a good or bad chassis.

Earning Points in Races
Clients who configure races (car, chassis, and strategy) and cross the finish line without being DSQ or DNF the owners of chasis will receive:

Chassis points.

2 or 3 design points (this seems to be a bug).

2 or 3 Data Points, which vary depending on the 0.5% research percentage applied during the race.

Manager Comparison
I ran a test comparing a manager with a chassis and one without.

My friend Nicolás requested my chassis, so he had one and I didn’t (as mentioned, the owner cannot use their own chassis).

In practice sessions, there was no difference.

In the race, the driver with a chassis won with approximately 35/37 seconds of advantage at 75% speed in X2.

Both cars were identical, with drivers 1.90 m tall and legendary overtaking skill.

The biggest difference was in fuel: one car had about 157 liters, while the other had 139.

This works as a kind of “ballast” in the new era.
In conclusion, the chassis mainly provides an advantage in fuel consumption, while in other areas the difference is not significant.

Final Thoughts
It’s hard to predict what will happen next, but I believe the iGP team and Jack are working to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Let me repeat:
THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL INFORMATION, ONLY MY POINT OF VIEW, TESTS, AND STUDIES ABOUT THE CHASSIS.
Some features may change or even be removed.

Current Situation
At the moment, I have 6 clients and 15 Data Points.
All of my clients configured the chassis.

If anyone wants to see my chassis, here’s the link:

Currently, assignments are not possible, but once they are enabled, I recommend assigning them to Mechanics or Aerodynamics.

I hope this information helps you better understand the concept of the chassis.
If I need to modify or add something, I’ll post an EDIT.

Best regards,
Rodríguez Ansaldi
