Initial car stats not aligned with CD strengths/weaknesses?

I'm a little confused about what I'm currently seeing with my car stats... our league just ended and my initial stats are as follows:

Downforce: 50
Cooling: 44 (CD's Weakness)
Acceleration: 42
Braking: 41 (CD's Strength)
Handling: 39
Reliability: 39
Tyre economy: 39
Fuel economy: 11 (wtf?)

Can anyone explain to me how my initial stats make any sense?

Chopping and changing CD's is the reason as it is saying the CD joined your team on the 13th, Guessing the one you had before had Fuel as weakness?

If you've changed chief designers or maintained multiples of them, the next season design of your car is going to reflect that. Jack's mentioned this in another thread.

what can be the reason for mine car att so low, now it will take atleast 3-4 race to b competitive to those cars whom i was leaving behind and some time lapped them as well

just look at the braking ....

You are level 9, your CD is just level 6, and their weakness is braking. Seems right to me...
