Yes, it would be important to know, if drivers age only effects training or also qualy and race performance...

It's something I've been studying, also at the suggestion of other managers, for quite some time. I said “I’ve been studying" because it's data I took in the pre-update. I don't know if anything has changed.

Obviously the younger he is the faster he trains (it seems pretty clear).

From a performance standpoint, there isn't a real difference, but I've noticed that drivers between 27 and 30 perform slightly better. From 33, they start to see a slight decline. In fact, I recommend changing drivers at 33. However, essentially, there isn't a real, marked difference between a 20-year-old, a 28-year-old, and a 35-year-old driver. It depends more on the manager's skills.

I know for certain, pre-pit crew update, driver age was one of the factors at play in qualifying. With the ideal window ending as young as 25 ish. This is long before w2w-update.

That being said:
1) there was back in the day, no certainty driver age had any effect during a race, there were too many variables to conclude that with certainty
2) I don’t know if the same simulation runs today, so this could be hopelessly out of date

33 is too late now. Old drivers train way too slow to be kept and trained back to 100% stats. Maybe the sweetspot is when they become 30 y/o now
