"Car icon text" setting never saves correctly

I've set my "car icon text" option to show "car position" when I race, but no matter how many times I click that save button, it always shows the car number instead at my next race. I have to go into the settings and select "car position" every time I play, and it's getting kind of old. Could this be fixed, please?
