I propose that for Gold Leagues, the season can be customized, just like the tracks and the types of tires that can be used, for example, S and H.
And that the quantity can be chosen in two ways: either the quantity per tire type or the quantity of tires for the entire race. Of course, this must have two types if there is a dual compound, or one type if there isn't.
Also, with the limitation that there must be a minimum of one tire type (in the case of M and H, 1M-1H, 2M, 2H) and two (in the case of Ss and S, 2Ss-2S, 4Ss, 4S).
For total tires, the limit should be a minimum of four for Ss, three for S, and two for M or H. This is for 50% leagues; perhaps one more tire for 75% leagues and one more for 100%.
