Which DRS zones activate too early or too late?

hello Jack, in malaysia is the top, in the turn has drs, netherlands too and have fix the drs bug of boxes, the drivers who do not enter the pit lane take the DRS of those who do enter, that shouldn't happen, in those two they activate earlier, and in mexico, It activates quite late and besides the drs is very short, they should move it to the main straight, it doesn't have much effect there

Could a line be added to the 2D view to show exactly where the DRS zone begins? I think it would also be useful if the start of the DRS zone coincided with a checkpoint, so we can clearly see how much of a DRS we’ve missed. Often, like others, I’ve missed DRS opportunities even though I was well under a second behind at the previous intermediate point.
P.S.: I would also be in favour of replacing the DRS with a higher battery recharge. The DRS often distorts the races because it is too powerful

From what I’ve noticed, a few DRS zones feel a bit off in terms of activation timing:

  • Some zones activate slightly too early, especially on shorter straights, which makes overtakes feel too easy and less realistic.

  • Others seem to activate too late—by the time DRS is available, the main overtaking opportunity has already passed.

It might be worth reviewing zones where:

  • The detection point is too close to the braking zone.

  • The activation point doesn’t align well with the longest acceleration phase of the straight.

Adjusting those could help balance overtaking—making it possible, but not effortless.
Appreciate you taking a look at this while working on race start fixes
