Recently I got access to KERS. In the first race, however my driver was not using it. I made sure that the option to the driver to use it was checked but still, he was not using it. I could use it, but I wanted to see my driver using it.
I thought that not all drivers can use KERS. Was it a bug? Can someone help me in this case?

I think they use it only when the really need it, like when overtaking someone, but even then not very often. They could defend with it, attack with it, do fastest laps, but it seems to me, that they use at best 30% on their own and the rest is left unused.

Maybe we should have a thing in the strategy page.....
-When overtaking use- x% of KERS
-When defending use x% of KERS
-When in clear air use x% of KERS

That is a big big big disadvantage to non-subscribers if Kers ins't fully used by driver's.

I think an Advanced Setting for Kers would be helpful for non-subscribers and member's who can't watch the races.

For the time being 'll make the drivers aim to use up all of the KERS during each race. I'll revisit the avanced strategy options for KERS later. Thanks for the suggestions.

Yes. KERS charges up during the first few laps and then becomes available to use once it reaches 100% charge. It does not charge again at any other point during thr race.

I've updated the driver's use of KERS such that they will now aim to use almost all of it each race. As mentioned earlier, this should reduce the huge advantage that live 2D players had originally.
