How to see liveries in 2D?

I still can't see liveries in 2D view, just solid team color. It's a bit hard to tell who's who during races especially when different teams share the same color. I can't tell who's the backmarker or the car in front of me. Some managers in our league said they can view the liveries just fine on 2D. Is there a setting to enable it 'cause I can't seem to find it, both on mobile and desktop application.

Yes, in race viewer at the top the leftmost button is settings, there's an option to set it to cars, icons (those coloured blobs), or both toggling depending on how zoomed in the view is.
However there is a bug with cars also showing solid base colour, if you're referring to that then it's waiting for the update to the new 2D race viewer. It was supposed to roll out soon a while ago, but probably delayed due to additional fixes like the new track coordinate system to fix starts, still hopefully not long wait from now.
