I was just wondering how the EXP works in order to better understand how to grow my team faster. It seems as though it's a fixed increase of 160exp per race.
Is this how it definitely works, or is there was a way to gain more EXP per race than just 160?

If I remember correctly, in the new game, it is also based on who your racing against. I think, but dont hold me to this, if your racing in a league where there are people of higher levels than you, then you can gain more XP than the base amount.

There's a tooltip next to it which explains it roughly, but it is as Jamie said. It increases much faster if you are racing against teams of much higher levels. The exact formulas and more information are available here:

Base 40 exp + bonus 20 exp per level difference with highest team level (capped at 8 in rookie & 12 in pro).
