A decision was made this morning to abort the iGP Manager 26 patch, with the 3D headquarters and 3D avatar editor. They will instead be part of a mega update for iGP Manager 27 in November.
The reason for this is simple: It became clear that the 2026 patch would have caused disruption to the iGP Manager 27 timeline and that it would not have been that welcome anyway. As one person put it, you want better gameplay, fixes and racing content, not dances. The intention to launch that first was in no way a reflection of priorities, by the way, it was just the only thing that could launch before November, as it was practically ready. So it was a case of launching something when it was ready, not when it was priority number one. The reality is all of the features of the new game are being worked on in parallel and some are being finished sooner than others
I don't want to promise too much, but iGP Manager 27 is a different game and it will benefit from this extra attention going to it. This is the best way to ensure that we really do deliver one of the best updates ever and that it is stable when it goes live.
We've been pushing the frontier of evolving technologies for a couple of years now and it's finally meeting our ambitions in the middle. We're able to put together some of the more ambitious projects for iGP Manager 27 and I'm pretty sure you're going to love it as long as it's stable. So that's what our priority is shifting to: getting that polished and stable so that the launch goes smoothly in November.
A public Discord server will be launched in October to prepare for the update, as well as much more information in the blogs in the weeks ahead.
Some of those that joined the Google Play beta programme may be given early access before the live launch. That has not been decided yet. You'll certainly be given access to patches early throughout the year.
Thanks everyone for your patience and understanding. I'll leave the thread open if anyone has any questions in the meantime.
P.S. Yes we're going to catch up on support soon as well. Development is taking total focus right now, and we're flying.
