Guys,

I have a couple of questions regarding this mail I received yesterday about my academy league closure.

1. Can you please expand upon the following text:
"Your league 'GFR Academy' has been automatically closed due to inactivity."
What defines inactivity?

2. Why was I not given any pre warning about the potential closure of the league?

Currently, a league is closed due to inactivity if it meets all of the following criteria simultaneously:

  • There are no entrants in one or more of the tiers in any given race
  • The league is older than 1 week (this prevents the system wrongly identifying new leagues as inactive)
  • Not a single manager in the league has logged in within 7 days

Thanks Jack,

It appears as though i met all 3 criteria because the teams had not logged in for the last 7 days. Is it possible to get the league reinstated or once it's closed is it gone forever.

Was there an update sent out in relation to this? I've been fairly busy so have not been able to log in as often as usual.

This has been in iGP Manager for years with these conditions. The league can't be reinstated, unfortunately.

Do you realize that I was one day away from the championship? This has to be fixed. The league I was in was rare because it was just weekly, which best suits my schedule.

Hi James, I'm really sorry to hear that. I will have another think about this in a few weeks to account for situations like that. It's the first time in years anybody has presented a situation like that, so it is a very rare and isolated incident.

I've put it on my list to address this at some point in January.

I went back and read Jack's requirements:
"Not a single manager in the league has logged in within 7 days"
How many were in the league? In any event, if you want weekly, there is the league I run in and there are plenty of active people in all 3 tiers
