If I have a car with 90 tyre economy, and another car with 10 tyre economy, and they both do a lap in practice with the same tyre, does the difference in tyre economy show up in the tyre wear indicator in practice?
i.e.
Practice lap result Car 1 Tyre economy = 90 Tyre = SS Tyre wear = 7%
Practice lap result Car 2 Tyre economy = 10 Tyre = SS Tyre wear = 10%
Or is the tyre economy factor for cars only applied during the race?
i.e.
Practice lap result Car 1 Tyre economy = 90 Tyre = SS Tyre wear = 7%
Practice lap result Car 2 Tyre economy = 10 Tyre = SS Tyre wear = 7%
Race lap Car 1 Tyre economy = 90 Tyre = SS Tyre wear = 7%
Race lap Car 2 Tyre economy = 10 Tyre = SS Tyre wear = 10%
*Assuming same fuel, push level, etc in the race lap scenario above.
