I have set the "car icon text" to car position, but I always have to reset it (it remembers the setting but doesn't show it until I manually click through all the other options). Also, car & icon is the same as car only for some reason?

Car position bug has been like this forever Hannu, it irritates me too but I assumed the devs had more important things to focus on. You're right to report it, I was just too lazy LOL.
Regarding "Car and Icon"... For me, when zoomed out it shows the coloured spot but if I select a car and then zoom in, at a certain zoom level the spot changes into a car.
