Confirmation message for Ideal Setup

When you get time please will you implement a confirm message along the lines of...

"Are you absolutely sure you want to waste 3 tokens on an ideal setup or have you just accidentally clicked on the button...... AGAIN!"

I've lost track of the number of tokens I've wasted by having sausage fingers.

Yes, I agree. I've only done it once so far - after I'd worked out the setup. It's infuriating. Self inflicted, I admit, but still infuriating.

One reason I don't have a confirmation on this particular button, is I've often found it useful to *not* have one when I'm in a rush. For example, if I'm arriving literally seconds before preparation is going to be locked and need to buy it for both drivers (a situation I've encountered a few times) I just want to buy it quickly and then do my strategy.

It would be interesting to know how big of a problem it really is. I'd need to see if more than 3 people feel strongly that this should be changed.

Create an option in settings that gives managers a choice. It can be off by default and turned on if the manager wants a confirmation prompt. Though I'm not sure how complex that may be to implement, as I'd hate to see it take away time from more important things.

I haven't had any issue with the setup button, what I have done though is gone to buy engines, brain in neutral, seen a picture of 2 piston/conrods clicked and bought parts instead.

Perhaps the button could be made narrower and aligned left with the 'try setup' made narrower and aligned right so there is more space between them?

Yes, I've also done the engine/parts mix-up. Personally I don't think a piston and con-rod is the best icon for "parts" if you don't concentrate it's slightly misleading. Would it be better to use something along the lines of a brake/calliper assembly or perhaps just a nut and bolt.
Regarding confirmation, others may not have the same problem as me at the moment, but if the page is laid out the same on the mobile app a confirmation will be required. The reason I have a problem is that my laptop has a touch screen so sometimes if I use fingers instead of a mouse.

I think having a confirmation windows every time you are going to spend tokens would be a good idea, missclicks happen and the tokens are the most valuable thing in the game so wasting them because of some missclick is pretty darn annoying.

Hi all, a newbie here, loving the game Jack & co!

I agree with Hannu - confirmations for each time an 'expense' of sorts would be more benefitical than annoying. I'm sure everyone would understand, and like Kevin mentions above too, it may be a requirement for the app anyway?

hope you already got ur no.'s to think bout it, although i neva encountered such thing but on mobile few times i too touched that token sucker button but simply dragged that touch to avoid that accident, and actually i was not aware that its without any confirmation lol.
