I guess it would be nice if we had some numbers of tyres consuption for the amount of meters/km it can do in a few temperatures, so we can make better strategies for the races

Hello,
Yup I think you could allow the Technical Director to tell us the % of tyres wear for different compounds over a lap for each race, like how he told us the amount of fuel needed per lap. Or we could do some simulations with the different tyre compounds to know the tyres wears for each lap during the practice session. Because as a newbie, we don't really know how the tyres are going off per lap and this will affect our strategy for the race.
Just a suggestion from me ~

It is hard on new players but i managed to figure it out quickly enough and to be honest it's one of the best things about this game.
The main thing about the race is the fuel/tyre ratio along with the pit stratergy. DON'T TAKE IT ALL AWAY!
I understand it is te Technical Directors job to do it, but if you are to introduce it into the game, at least do it on a skill basis and show us the skill level. E.g
"Techincal director's name"
Fuel per lap skill 8/10
Tyre degradation skill 4/10
- done out of marks of 10 skill on a % basis. But i like this method as it would give my £200,000 director more value to his job.
I do like the race practice idea more. Should be done similar to the car setup system.
You have 5 practices/laps to test a type of tyre. The results would differ depending on the tyre, track surface, track temperature, weather etc.Practice anytime upto the qualifying. Therefore, it would be best to test close to the race time for most accurate results.
Anyway just my suggestions, i hope this thread isn't too old.

Make a table on tire degradtion per race and you have your tire degradation. :)

I've done that too =)
