Individual part repair

I know you are reviewing the amount of parts needed to repair a car each race but it might also help to allow you to partly repair cars. At the moment one of my cars it too damaged to finish races and I can't repair it. I only have 50% of the parts needed and no tokens to get more. If I could half finish it however both of my cars could finish the next race.

What I mean is repairing specific parts like the old iGP or just a slider so you can choose how many parts to use. Doesn't make sense to me that a team would have a car break down and 15 fresh parts at the next race yet can't use then because it would take 20 to fully repair the car.
