Is it normal for mail and the home screen not to display the language you chose in the settings?

This is coming from the league, which will be set in another language. The clarity and informing users about this needs improving, and I will be working on that this week. Basically, league hosts have the option to set a language for the news feed and mails sent to the managers within the league. If you join a league set to Spanish, it will all be in Spanish and so on.

This is because the league news for example is not generated in real-time on load, it's cached and is also available as an RSS feed as well to the public. This RSS feed must have a language, and so it uses the setting from the league.
