Yep, it looks like us PC players have been abandoned for the mobile crowd. Seriously unimpressed with the lack of action on the web races. Ironic when you consider who the core audience is.
I can get in if I wait about 20 minutes for the race viewer to load, after which it downloads a 27Mb file EVERY TIME. I was told to just accept this and spectate another race beforehand to be able to view a race on the web. That is a crappy answer.

Bye IGP Manager, I'm off to Motorsport manager. I've tried to stay loyal but its now been over two weeks and despite trying this and that, I cant get into the races at all.

For players on Windows PCs:
Note: This may not work on Windows XP, and I'm not sure if Vista has this capability.
Right click on the Windows button in the bottom left corner.
Click on Power Options.
Choose the High Performance power plan.
Try loading the viewer again when it is time to race.
If it works, great! If it doesn't, comment again.

I understand that you are frustrated, but so far we can't reproduce the issue. We've been trying to reproduce it so we can fix it rather than engaging in every discussion. It only seems to be certain people, and it recurs for them again and again.
Every time I've seen a post with someone saying they've been trying to connect all day, I go straight into their race without delay, no issues, and see the other 10-15 participants are there too, chatting away. Several times I've even encountered the person who "can't connect" in the race, and started chatting to them. This makes the whole thing very confusing, and difficult to pin down, but we will get to the bottom of it.
To assert that we have ditched WebGL support is silly, because it is an update just released for it which seems to have contributed to connection issues for a small minority of people. Any amount experiencing what you guys are is too many, and we're working on it. But in the bigger picture, over 10,000 people logged in yesterday and watched races and here is a thread with a total of four people saying they can't get into their race. To say that reflects a serious problem, or to say we've ditched PC is an extreme exaggeration of the scale of the problem. I understand where it's coming from though, intense frustration, and that's not something we ever want you to feel while playing the game.
This thread was made barely half a day ago. I can only reiterate that we're working hard on any issues relating to connections, on all platforms. It's our top priority.

Hi Alan, removed the error. We've resolved it. Everything seems okay now. There was about 15 minutes of downtime though, sorry about that.

im having the same issue as Brijesh Singh, i see that he is using firefox, but during my race this morning i tried using google chrome, mozilla firefox and even internet explorer and edge, but i got the same issue over and over again, i saw a post where they say the problem is fixed, i will try it again tomorrow, but i just wanted to give some more information in case we do not have the same problem.
also when i try to spectate other races, i dont have the track on my screen, it just shows a whole white area where the cars are driving around a track i can not see

Jack Basford medal 5674 CEO & CTO 7 years 267 days ago
When was the last race that you attended via the WebGL version? And could you load the viewer for that one?
michael bishop medal 5000 7 years 267 days ago
last race in last season
Jack Basford medal 5674 CEO & CTO 7 years 267 days ago
Yes, it seems very consistent that the issue is that people have cached older versions of code trying to run alongside newer ones. There are also other issues in the last 48 hours, but the vast majority of "WebGL won't load" complaints all indicate cached code. This is why everyone else is connecting to the race fine, except a few individuals.
I've heard of people rebooting their machines and all sorts in attempts to get it to work. This will make no difference. The only thing that can help is clearing the cache, and not just the cache for the last hour, but for all-time.
James Greer medal 5000 7 years 267 days ago
I have done that many times and it still loads the old way & not the new way, can you clear the servers cache data?
Jason Mcrae medal 5000 7 years 267 days ago
i have the same problem except i raced at 6pm no problem come my 8.30pm race and i could not get in i used same browser and even cleared cache. i then went to another account to see if i could spectate and i was able to. i just couldn't load the race to control it.
Jason Brinkley medal 5000 7 years 267 days ago
I had the same issue as Mr. Singh at 11:30am pst, never did get in. I had just raced at 9:00am pst on the same machine, same browser, but different team. all settings the same. I was able to race from my phone at 11:30 so not a loss, but an annoyance. I cleared my cache and restarted my browser several times, I did not restart my machine however. Hope this helps. https://igpmanager.com/app/p=league&id=373 was 9am league and https://igpmanager.com/app/p=league&id=502 is my 11:30am league
