How can I go about stopping my tyres from overheating so fast? I mean they overheat within 3 laps, with the driver on "push" orders. If I put it down any slower, my drivers get ripped apart and still the tyres overheat within 3 laps.

You can't normally push for very long while using softs without making them overheat.  You might go slower than other cars initially if you don't push so hard, but you will make your tyres last longer and should win out in the end.

Is the 'pushing' that you are discussing unique to the 2D view? I have not yet had a chance to check out the 2D view for a race. Is this the same as putting your driver on an aggressive strategy or is it something different?

It's the same thing, but in the 2D viewer you can change orders live and you can see the tyre's temperature instead off making a single choice for the entire race before the preparation lockout, i.e. with the 2D you can push harder to bring the tyres up to the ideal temperature and back off to avoid overheating.

Well, if you want to win in a game - you dedicate time to it. If you're playing it casual - don't expect to be as successful as those spending the time.
I kinda like it that in the near future, it'll be "Spend time = Win more", coz right now it's "Spend money = Win more".

Basically it'll favour those with more time and money to spend, rather than those who work every day in RL :P

i dont agree, play more win more. yes but it should be open for all over an 24 hour option or something. so you not forced to shit at you computer 3 times a week. at prime time family time to play a game, it would be nice to be able to have a windows on raceday so or so

The tyres do overheat quickly if your push level is too high. You should keep an eye on the temperature though, when its around 5, you can put it to 'take it easy' and they will keep cool, but generally you will set it to 'back off' until the last few laps where you can begin to push.

I hope you meant 'sit'. :P But really, if your schedule isn't working, you can always change leagues or create one to suit you.

The only way it could be more flexible is if you were to arrange to have races only when you are at the computer (which will be possible with friendly races eventually).
