Retiring pilots in the end of race not losing position

I just finished a race where 2 pilots ran out of fuel in the end but the first place had finished the race a some time before

Then the race just finished the way it was and the 2 pilots that ran out of fuel kept their positions even not able to finish the race.
People who retire during the race should not count in the final results or go automaticaly to the last positions when it finishes, please fix it!

it seems like they were on the lead lap and ran out on the last lap. therfore they finish 59/60 laps but beat the cars who did not run out of fuel because they completed them first/made it further on the track before running out.

Dosen't seem like a bug. They were on the lead lap I think meaning they didn't finish the final lap, so they were classed as 59/60 and ahead of the other drivers who had completed 59 laps.

Not a bug. Same rules in most motorsport series.

Yeh i just dont know much about races then.

Matt and Bradley are correct; that is how the game handles these situations.
