Hi all guys, I've been looking this thread for a week but I didn't found it.
Sometimes I can't use WI FI to watch my races because I'm not at home and I have to use my my mobile data... if possible I'd know how many data it consumes to watch a race, more or less
Thank you guys!

Hey there, this is a pretty good reminder for myself to test this. The last time I tested this, I wasn't able to see specifically how much data was consumed, but it was less than 100 megabytes.

I'll try to test this again by using an app that can track the numbers more specifically.

For me it does not seems to consume much data. I believe i did a whole (50%) race using up 10MB-20MB or something like that with EE. Although I'm not sure if it changes with the mobile supplier...

I have tested live managing on my laptop using the race viewer's web version via the hotspot connection on my phone.

However, I tested that over a year ago. Mobile data consumption was less than 50 megabytes. If I remember correctly, the exact number was 23 megabytes over a 50% race.

Most of the data would surely be loading everything in at the start? I can't imagine the race updates themselves are very intensive at all. Of course, the shorter the race the less data it will be, so it's a bit of a "how long is a piece of string" quesiton.

I asked, and was told: "about 8mb  for the actual race data and about 10mb from images"

Jack, I'd try to measure data consumption at the rate of megabytes per lap or per minute.

Hey guys, for a 42 laps race I consumed about 20-22 megabytes, watching the entire race.

That's really good for a full distance race.
