I've just seen 3 things in a race of mine where I have two teams, when i'm available I watch 2d on my main account and always set up an absent strategy etc. for the B team.
My B team as it happened qualified better at Monaco. It started to rain around about lap 5. I have always set the figure to pit for x tyre when it start to rain at 2mm, on both drivers. They pitted at 1.1mm, and it wasn't a case of the next number being +2mm because it went to 1.6mm. The wording on the strategy page is "If it's raining and water reaches x" which reads to me that only once that number has reached 2, they will then pit for the selected tyre.
Onto the next part of the page now where it dries out. I imagine it is possible for Jack etc. to look at strategies that have been set in the past, I have always set the "If it stops raining for" figure at 3 or 4 laps. I never set it so that both my drivers would come in for an unscheduled stop on the same lap. However not only did they do that today, they came in I think it was on the first lap, at most the 2nd. Not the 3rd or 4th minimum that I am sure I set it to.
Finally, I opted for a 3 stop at Monaco before the race (50% race) but because of the rain it meant the pit stops got a bit muddled. Typically they ended up having to pit a few laps from the end (one of them from the lead), but for their last stint they fit mediums. I imagine this is just the default tyre, but it's also the most pointless tyre on the game, made worse because I was at Monaco too on push level High. If im right can I suggest that this is perhaps changed? The default tyre being the one you started on for example?

Did you save your strategy on browser or mobile? Curious because I saved a strategy recently on mobile and didn't see it employed (I usually use browser).
Regarding medium tires being the worse in the game -- not in 100% leagues, mid way through race, they run as fast as SS even with high fuel loads... I don't get it... but that's really neither here nor there regarding your point.

Browser.
I've been in plenty of decent leagues and the mediums are never used. Not in a successful way anyway. In my experience there's near enough no difference pace wise between the medium and hard, but that isn't the point.

I think there may be a bug here as well.

I have noticed in my league that the experienced managers never use mediums. When switching from softs they always go to hards. Or they go from ss to hards. And during setup the difference between hards and mediums is only about 0.1 seconds.

I can't remember ever asking a question on this forum and getting a reply within a month, and thats with regularly bumping the thread.

Very interesting topic. I have already seen problem with wrong tires and water level. In that case the manager had set 4.0mm to wet full, but iGP had fitted that tire before (3.0mm).
I think that it could be very useful to have an option to choose if we want to use wet strategy or not during the race. Like we had in old iGP!
