I need more competition in my league, if I invite a friend to play in my league when entering pro would go to that category immediately or have to do a rookie season?

Your friend will start in Rookie. All new accounts begin in Rookie.

I hope I understood your question correctly. Regardless of the tier you are in, you cannot influence the tier a new player begins in, which is always Rookie.
