Could you get different onboard camera's of the cars instead of a birds eye view... Would be really more interesting if we could see from the perspective of your driver...
I like the idea, but then we are talking about marrying an F1 race sim type game to this... A lot of work I'm sure, but I do like your idea on this one
We've got a lot of things to sort out before the cars can race in 2D, let alone 3D. A project of that scale, to go to 3D onboards, you're talking in terms of year(s) of development, rather than months or weeks.
It's definitely something we'd like to do, but I could say that in most feature suggestions. The more we grow, the more possibilities we have. So the best thing to do to help us get to that stage is recommend the game to a friend for now, and we'll see where things go. :)
