I recently built my Drivers Academy, looking for some high talented new drivers. Besides the let down when I discovered that I must waste a token in order to blindly see a new driver, and pay 15 more to promote him, I was wondering if upgrading the Academy again makes sense.
I mean, if I Upgrade the design facility, I will get more Design points every race; same for the parts factory; but what happens if I invest on the Drivers academy?

Thank you to whoever wants to help.

This is a hard question as there is no correct answer, someone might prefer Technology first to get DRS and KERS better, someone may like Simulator.
If you want my suggestion, I'd update Design to the highest level first!

I think the question is -- what perks do you get for upgrading Drivers academy? All of the others are more transparent about what you get. Academy, not much.

It looks like that a higher level YA produces a better chance on high talent drivers. Myself I consider the YA as the second most unimportant building with offices being the most.

Nowadays I usually upgrade Manufacturing first, then Technology, Design, Simulator, YA and since now leveling slowed down enough to have time for it Offices gets some upgrading down at last.
But I don't use the app so no free parts from there. I don't like that kind of stuff anyway since I'm not sure if I pay with watching adds or selling data.

Developing and scouting for new drivers in the Youth Academy is a long term investment. There is no way around it, even in reality. You will have to spend a little bit at a time over a long period to receive large gains further down the road. Several times per month (I only race three times a week so not many tokens to go around on my end) I will throw a token or two at the Youth Academy. A few weeks back, I scouted my first 20 talent driver.

It depends on what level you are.

I would think its one of the most important once your a lvl 14 or 15 manager..

The higher lvl it is the more talent 20 drivers it will find. Yes you take a hit of 1 coin just to search and 15 to promote, but long term, over 5/10 seasons you will save millions in money on wages as a YA driver is always cheaper on wages than hiring a talent 20 driver.
