To help clarify sponsors

Seeing the bug thread about sponsors got me thinking about how to improve it once it's fixed. Since I'm not racing frequently, I don't know how fluid the expectations​ are, so my idea is based on slightly more fixed expectations.

Can a mouse over tip be added to each sponsor like we have for the car parts(i.e., downforce: Improves high speed cornering)

Something like this for the lowest bonus paying sponsor (farthest right option on list I believe): "This company is still establishing itself and sees you as a great opportunity to get their name out there. They expect to see you finish races."

Middle bonus sponsors: "This company wants a good return on their investment in you. They expect to see you battling for points positions ( or top half, or top 60%, etc of the field)."

Top bonus paying sponsors: "This company expects to back a winner and wants a huge return on it's investment in you in terms of time in front of the camera. They won't be paying much in the base contract, but podium finishes will be richly rewarded."

Some sponsors could have a fixed expectation for the length of the contract while others could have an additional line to this effect : "Continued success in meeting this sponsor's expectations will trigger a higher expectation clause in the contract."

I think it could be very good bc I am so tired of getting money for basically free and can I add that a sponsor that could say:"If you finish in a x position that is higher than the position we expected you to finish,we will give you x% more money than intended such as 1 position higher=2% higher etc.

Yes, that sounds good. Just not as tooltip but listed in a new row right where the other stats are. You know what you sign then and not some wildly jumping target. If it stays like now we could delete all those sponsors anyway because almost anyone not dominating a league picks the highest base sponsor and only a really dominating team might pick the highest bonus. All others are mostly useless.

Pretty solid. I really do miss the dynamic in old iGP with sponsor relationships being very important. New players didn't have a chance at signing with the best sponsors at all. The downside was that there was no headwinds in maintaining sponsor relationships. You had to be awfully silly breaking contracts to mess up your big income from the best sponsors.

It could be said that downside is still present, as anybody can just choose the best sponsors with no issues at all.
