Anyone ever play project cars 2 on ps4? I never have and was wondering how it was 2ithout internet

I have played Project Cars on ps4 but I don't know if you can play completely offline. There is a login process at the start and I never tried skipping that step. PCars 2 isn't due to be out for ps4 until August. I read that you will need to be online for setup and a possible update but may be able to play offline after that. Go to the PlayStation forum GT subforum and ask through the Project Cars thread.
