Weather - Rain TireQuestion

I had a question regarding rain for the races.

If you are sitting there monitoring the weather and what not. You set your strategy for the tires to use during the race and then also when to switch into certain tires when rain reaches XXmm.

The question I have is, does the system automatically put you in your rain choice tires during the 10 minute lockout before the race starts or does it keep you in your normal set of tires for the race and then after the 1st lap it will pit then change your tires to your wet tire strategy choice?

I was wondering if like at 11:49 I need to be like change to FW or IW because I think it will rain. Or if I could stay in my SS/S/M/H tires and if it starts to rain during the 10 minute lockout window leading up to the start of the race if the car will automatically change to my wet tire strategy setting.

15 minutes before lock down I setup my car.
I had Inters set for all 4 stints in the strategy as I had rain in practice.
If raining & water reaches 4mm - I set Full wets
If it stops raining for 15 laps - I set S.
In Qualifying & Race start it put me softs as the sun was shining.
