I think that adding the element of a test driver would be good. My reasons for this is that you can have a strong driver lineup which you've got for the races(a very trained older driver) and then you can have a test driver who doesn't race but can be trained and raised to a sufficent standard for you to race with whilst being able to have a stronger lineup for races.
