I read in few post a kind of "fight" between who want a game with or without accident.

So i tought...maybe the "accident" can have a reason why...

- After 50% of consume of the tyres you start to have 1% of chance you breake it.
ex. 35% tyres still good = 15% chance you breake it each lap
ex. only 15% tyres still good = 35% chance you breake it each lap

- Change of engine/change of cars part- Same thing... after 50% of utilization you start to have a chance to stop during the race

- Accident - it may be possibile to link this chance to the Driver skills. For example we can use Driver experience, stamina and how much we asked the driver to push

So... i don't think the accident should be random... but with an acceptable reason it can make the game interesting

Ciao

ps. sorry for my english

-The tyre thing still needs some work, as proposed above it would render super softs as almost useless. For example pretty usual tactics at least in colder 50% races is the super soft, soft, super soft, but with 15% wear/lap and used like mostly usedit would have a roughly 25% chance to make it through the race. I'd say give some tyre suppliers more bonus, make contracts last a season and add a durability stat

-Same as tyres, add more bonus but also make some a little bit fragile and as you said, if you reuse them too often they'll get unreliable. For parts I already suggested to make it Design points dependable. Like if you spend 50 points on acceleration and only 40 points on cooling you'll have a 10 percent chance of engine failure during the race, +1% for each degree above 20C and -1% for below. For Handling (Chassis), Braking (Brakes) and Downforce (Wings and splitter/diffusor) it's Reliability that matters.

-I don't like it. Stamina OK. But experience means using a second team just to train up the drivers because you can only train that by racing them and it takes ages. OK, you loose the wage advantage but that would be worth it. Push level is the only thing we have including, well, pushing it, aggressiveness and taking rist and tyre temperature control. So you're forced mainly through temperature to set your risk, and in RL going easy can increase the risk of driver errors as well.

I still think it should be league optional though, because even if it's an advantage/risk thing it's quite probable that it forces managers to take risks to have a chance in racing and this game will never, and doesn't want to, have that kind of simulation behind it to make it more controllable than pure luck.

Yeah really good idea, maybe also included a Safety Car to mix things up abit as well

Not so sure about the Safety Car, as it may disturb the races and strategy

This could have a benefit though, as it would give people a chance to mix up there race and get up and amoungst the bugger teams

Another benefit to this idea would be to the produces of igp as it would get people to stay and watch, ultimately getting people to play the game more frequently

So there's all of my ideas put forward

Race incidents should be added ie.
Crashes on first turn makeing punchers or wing damage
In the race strategy the opportunity to make drivers try and have rivalry between other teams so if one drive is leading the championship his team mate could try and slow down his rival tho blocking him in turns

I think is a good idea to introduce a rate of accident in battles, for examples in firsts laps to lose the front wing and make a pitstop, even puncture tyres could be great

I agree

Tyre punctures, reliability, and engine failures should be more common. I've let my car deteriorate to 20% car health (parts) and it runs the same as new. While this is my laziness, I feel like I should've been penalized for that laziness. Like, let's say the car pulls a Hulkenberg and the DRS flap gets stuck open. Obviously that level of detail would be hard to achieve, but a red failure light for some sort of car mechanical would be nice to see. After all, motorsports do involve reliability a lot, and I feel that would make the reliability as well as cooling statistic more important in game as they currently have been quite disregarded.

Accidents are always fun but with reason not randomly all the time.
