Hi I have been playing the game for about 9 months now. I have gotten far and high in my leagues however i problem i am having is that I cannot upgrade my hq because i am in serious debt. It is currently £-624.4m (I know yikes). So i was thinking that maybe we can still upgrade out hq even though we are in debt however we shall have to pay it in tokens instead of the money. I would appreciate if you take on board this suggestion becuase i have the pace and talent of the drivers however the hq is really pulling me down.

Thanks for Reading,
Xander Rhodes

Currently £624.4m in the red, yet you where able you hire a driver today?

I would suggest having a building downgrade button to help people get back into the green.
Prevent renewing of current staff & drivers contracts, also people that are in debt should be blocked from using the transfer market.

There is no running costs for buildings anymore each race, how on earth did you lose 624 million?

I can only think that he signs a new driver almost every other race — aka signing fees.

Seriously...just start over and make a new account.

I think this is just one of the things you're supposed to do as manager: manage finances well; something the old iGP didn't have as a challenge but new iGP does. Most games prevent you from spending on most stuff the moment you go in the red. Starting a new team, the main priority should be to maximise your HQ as much as possible. Drivers are expensive so wait until elite to get 20 Talent ones, and don't waste too much tokens & money on staff especially if you're lowered leveled (meaning you level up faster).

624 million would easily take hundreds of tokens to recover... or at least 2 years should you earn 1 mil a race, probably having to make do with 0 star staff and such as well. Between a rock and a hard place, I'd say. Instead of spending something around the range of 40 pounds (devs will love this so maybe you should) or waiting as long as 2 years (and watch all your friends become lvl 20 managers in the green), starting over with a new account sounds like the best choice.

It's not years but it's still a few months. You can make about 1 mill per race but you will still get your 3 tokens on top.

The bigger problem is: Xander, a bit more than one season ago it was a debt of 442.8 million. That means more than 180 million more debt in about 20 races or 9 million per race, give or take. How did that happen? There's not even interest and higher tiers are not really earning more, unlike how it would be in RL sports like football, so betting everything on one card and spending any amount to reach the next tier doesn't makes sense in this game.

Xander. You'll never get out of debt if you continue to pay top dollar for drivers and staff, especially in Rookie where your nine months experience and strategies you've learnt along the way should be sufficient to win the championship.
Your wage bill....
2 drivers each costing £971k per race. There are much cheaper drivers out there who will be sufficiently competitive in rookie.
Your CD is costing you £622k per race. Strength Reliability and weakness Braking. With those attributes he's not worth the money you are paying. Look for a CD with a better weakness.
Doctor - £650K per race. Sack him and let the game auto assign a 1* doctor at £55k per race.

Your total wage bill for active staff (assuming you have none in reserve) is about £3.9m per race. You could save a lot of money by having a clearout.

You want level 8
Technology
Simulator
Offices
Manufacturing

Design level 7 to keep parts cost down once you turn level 9, Design you bring to 8 & everything else 9.

It doesn't looks like there's a limit. So Xander might be the first to accidentally test if there's still such a thing as a variable overflow, like it's quite common in those old games. :-)

I'm surprised to see Offices in there. Did I miss an update giving those an use?

Yea i'm replacing all the staff and with cheaper ones yet also as good so they should only be costing around 300k per race or less.
Also I can't fire my doctor completely because the game says I do not have another doctor to cover it so i am getting a doctor that only costs 60k per race

Yea my strategy was that I thought getting higher and more expensive drivers and staff would help me get to PRO but without the right race strategys it is not working out

I know it raises staff morale but unlike special cases of talent, experience and age I have never seen any indication that this does anything to the staff level and thus star rating. Or any other effect whatsoever. So I'm wondering why Offices are suddenly being included in a buildings to have list instead of the usual 'build it if you don't have anything else left and money to spare, it looks good after all and shouldn't do any harm either'.

I m new rookie. Why i can buy i driver without tokens? In thiss game i need to invest real money to buy a driver decent? That is not fair. Who is reach, win all and other without money don t have any chance of succes.

Andrei, some sponsors give you free tokens instead of money, such as iRacing which is the best and gives you 3 tokens each race.

I can gain tokens from sponsors? This is great.
